"If I have a style, I am not aware of it." - Michael Graves

Those born on July 9 have both the imaginative power to dream up unusual working hypotheses and the practical ability to see them through. Thus they have a marked affect on the world around them. Many July 9 people wish to better understand the process of life and creation, delve into how things work, take ideas and objects apart and put them back together again. A mastery of technique based on experience is usually essential to their success.

Advice: Don't get discouraged. Keep true to yourself and your dreams. Try to be more selective in your interests; focus your energy and avoid being carried away by unrealistic schemes. Keep your feet on the ground and maintain emotional balance.

BORN ON THIS DAY: Tom HanksMichael Graves (University of Cincinnati's most famous graduate Architect and a Sigma Chi) O.J. Simpson, Brian Dennehy, Richard Roundtree, Jimmy Smits, Donald Rumsfeld. Source: The Secret Language of Birthdays Gary Goldschneider & Joost Elffers.

Diamonds - Values - Security – Dharma

6 of Diamonds - Completion of Obligations

SIX of  Diamonds: The Card of Financial Responsibility: The number six implies responsibility and diamonds relates to finances. Six of Diamonds people are keenly aware of debts and their repayment. Like all sixes they receive exactly what they put out. They may fall into slumps as a result of their inertia so they need to remember to prod themselves into action. Once they get going, they can attain most anything they desire. There is protection in work and action. On a deeper level, the Six of Diamonds is here to settle karmic debts from past lives. Finances can go from one extreme to the other in this process. If they accept what they inwardly know, they will always be happy whatever the circumstances in their life. If they have discovered their special mission in life, they will not worry about how much money they have. These people make great teachers. They are givers and can be entrusted with great responsibility. What they have to give is a clear knowledge of values and discrimination. Relationships: Underneath the tough exterior of the (6d) lies a person who is having a difficult time meeting their needs for affection. There are often deep fears of abandonment that underlie much of what they do in their personal relationships. Until those fears are dealt with directly, they can have a hard time understanding the repeated failures that make up their love life. There is protection in work and action.

Your Karma Cards are the:  NINE of Clubs - You owe something to this person and they reflect you in some way.  THREE of Spades - This person owes you and you are their mirror in some way.

SIX  of Diamonds (Pentacles, Coins, Disks) in Tarot

SIX six of diamondsof Diamonds symbolizes the need for understanding VALUE. A very successful and satisfactory life can be built for the Six of Diamonds when money is not made the sole objective. The acquisition of knowledge is not easy for the Six of Diamonds; there are obstacles and frustrations for them. There may be difficulty in acquiring an education in early life -- or there may be unwillingness to bother with it on their own part. Money, however, is vital to the people born under this card. Often times they want to begin earning it even before they know where, or how! The women of this Card should strive not to depend on their personalities for success, and the men not seek a wealthy marriage to promote their own objectives. For both men and woman Six of Diamonds, finances tend to go to extremes and remain in one state for a long time -- either way up, or way down. http://www.metasymbology.com/

CANCER II - The Week of the Unconventional July 3 - 10: Cancer II's can appear quite normal, and may occupy ordinary positions in the working world, but they are irresistibly attracted to the unusual and the bizarre. Few colleagues and associates are ever granted access to their secret world; only their intimates come to realize, often after years of close association, how closely their fascination with all that is strange and curious mirrors their own inner self.

Advice: Make a real effort to get out in the world. Toughen your stance a bit and try not to be so sensitive. Develop your financial sense and cultivate your talent for maintenance and continuity. Keep contact with those who care about you. Put your active fantasy and imagination to productive use.

CANCER II NOTABLES: Tom Hanks, Franz Kafka, Nancy  Reagan, Nikola Tesla, Tom Cruise, Kevin Bacon, O.J. Simpson, Ann Landers, Abigail Van Buren, Geraldo Rivera, John D.Rockefeller, Philip Johnson, Sylvester Stallone, Ringo Starr, P.T. Barnum, George M. Steinbrenner, Janet Leigh.

                Self                                                     Ego

July NINTH  the Day of WONDER: can't help themselves with an EIGHT  of Clubs "Power in Knowledge" Ego, Who They Think They Are, from 'Wondering' on any topic. Architects by nature are Wonderers, knowing a little bit about everything and not much about anything in particular or another favorite axiom of mine, architects create problems for engineers to solve. Michael Graves and I both graduated from the University of Cincinnati, - the first Coop or Work-Study school of Architecture in America. We had to alternate quarters between university and interning with an architectural firm. After graduation I did a lot of Wondering on how to make money as an architect, while Graves applied himself in creating designs that combine function, practicality and economy, into humanely aesthetic buildings, kitchen utensils, and health products.
