August TWENTY-FOURTH the Day of ASTUTE EXAMINATIONS:
The Jack of Clubs Club
"Peace for us means the destruction of Israel. We are preparing for an all-out war, a war which will last for generations." - Yassar Arafat
Those born on August 24 have the urge to untangle mysteries that capture their interest. All the dark, misunderstood or uncharted areas of human knowledge attract them. Not only students of the human condition, those born on this day often pursue objective knowledge for its own sake, whether philosophical or scientific, material or theoretical. Their never ending quest for information and details which can help them make sense of life and enrich their world takes them far and wide.
STRENGTHS: Observant, Investigative, Thorough
WEAKNESSES: Over-Analytical, Stifling, Obscure
ADVICE: Don't make such a production out of small matters. Occasionally allow things to run their course. Your observations are not always appreciated. Follow your heart more often, while respecting the wishes of others. Some secrets are better left unrevealed.

Meaning of the 2 of Clubs Sharing of Ideas
Issues Concerning Relationships: Some of the most physically beautiful, attractive and intelligent people are (2c) and one would usually look at them and think they could have almost anyone they desired. It is a mystery in some cases why they choose the people with whom they end up. This is more a trait in the female (2c) than the males. Their love relationships are more a reflection of their state of inner wellness and self-love than of any other factor. If their inherent fear has not been recognized and confronted, they will often settle for anyone, just to avoid being alone, or for someone who is abusive, psychotic or weird in some way. This can lead to co-dependent and other undesirable relationships.
The remedy for the (2c) is to face that deep fear that is often haunting them. 'We have nothing to fear but fear itself' and this is applicable to the (2c). For many of them, they first need to admit it to themselves. They have to turn the lights on in that darkened room of their mind and face the monsters that lie hidden there. Those who do face it discover a new power within them, the power of the mystic that is revealed by the (As), the ancient symbol for secret knowledge. Discrimination in their choice of partner will bring them great rewards.
This is one of those cards that can usually have anyone they want for a partner. They have more freedom of choice in this area because they themselves have a lot to offer. If they take some time to understand their impulses, needs, desires and feelings, they will attract a partner who is more loving and considerate, one who satisfies that (2c) urge for the perfect companion with whom they may share everything.

TWO of Clubs: People born under the Two of Clubs must learn the art of cooperation. Most 2 of Clubs will put up an independent front which can make them appear defensive or uncooperative. All Two of Clubs are clever and quick witted. They never lack for an answer, and can be very opinionated. Fear is a big factor for people born with this Card. They must learn to trust in themselves and find an outlet for their keen, penetrating minds. Two of Clubs people also have an uncanny ability to ferret out the information they seek, and make for great detectives! In relationships, the Two of Clubs like to be playful and they are known for their romantic creativity. http://www.metasymbology.com/
LEO-VIRGO CUSP: The Cusp of EXPOSURE - August 19-25: Those born on the Leo-Virgo cusp are an interesting blend of introvert and extrovert. Leo-Virgo people combine the practical, earthly qualities of Virgo with the more intuitive, fiery traits of Leo, producing quietly inspired individuals who keep their light within. Some Leo-Virgos give a muted, almost nondescript first impression while concealing more flamboyant tendencies; others come across as exhibitionistic but are actually sensitive, private types. They may hide certain personal qualities, or facts about themselves, for years, but their inner flamboyance will break out periodically in even the most introverted of those born in this period when one day they reveal themselves to the world, in full awareness of what they are doing. Many of them will come to realize that self-concealment is futile the more they try to hide, the more the world seems to take notice of them. By aiming to be more transparent, letting others see what they really are instead of hiding, Leo-Virgos will even out some of their swings between introverted and extroverted behavior.
Strengths: Self-Contained - Observant - Flamboyant
Weaknesses: Narcissistic - Secretive - Non-sharing
ADVICE: Don't blame the world for not recognizing you if you hide yourself away. Be more transparent - let people see what you are really like. Beware of keeping secrets even from yourself. Allow others in, to share in both your joys and sorrows.

August TWENTY-FOURTH the Day of ASTUTE EXAMINATIONS: is my favorite example and the inspiration for The Jack of Clubs Club tagline: "The only thing we have to fear, is fear of the Self." The Karmic Challenge of August 24 and every other TWO of Clubs is - Fear of Cooperation. This Fear trips them up in Relationships - Family, Friends, Lovers and Business.
Standard karmic equipment of the 2 of Clubs includes a -karma ACE of Spades "Ambition & Spiritual Initiate," and +karma KING of Hearts "Master of Love & Movie Star Potential," ala Jackie Kennedy and Brad Pitt.
August 24, as if an, ACE and a KING weren't enough, drew a second King, the KING of Clubs "Master of Knowledge," to create a Brawn, Brains & Beauty persona.
